About the Team
Walton Investment Team is a dynamic and growing team that specializes in managing family investments. Our talented team is located in Bentonville, AR, Washington, DC, and Denver, CO. We work collaboratively to develop, implement, and oversee investment strategies. We are seeking to expand and grow our team with skilled and qualified talent.
What you will do
Responsibilities
- Analyze information relating to accounts, investments, or portfolio structure and help investment team make decisions from an operational standpoint
- Determine processes necessary for implementing investment decisions and coordinate with Investment Operations Analysts to complete transactions and projects
- Coordinate with Investment Team, fund managers, and legal counsel to negotiate and complete legal reviews, side letters, and contracts relating to investments
- Serve as a point of contact for third-party stakeholders, such as fund managers, fund administrators, and the custodian bank and respond to questions and complete requests related to client portfolios, delegating where appropriate
- Coordinate workflow of Investment Operations Analysts and maintain oversight of transactions and Operations projects to ensure all are completed as planned. Review Analysts’ work to ensure accuracy of transaction documents
- Review monthly and quarterly performance reports to accuracy. Coordinate with performance reporting group to provide timely and accurate updates and information regarding changes to client portfolios
- Monitor transaction records, share class information, and manager liquidity provisions on behalf of all client portfolios
- Utilize manager/custodian websites to monitor client transactions and cash flows
- Utilize internal and external resources to support client activities
- Maintain awareness of current investment themes and client interests
- Experience working with trusts and trust administrators, including coordination of trust distributions, communication with fiduciaries and legal counsel, and an understanding of trust structures, governance, and compliance requirements.

- 2+ years of experience in investment operations or investor relations, or a related field

- Exceptional written and oral communication skills

- Experience in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word

Benefits Information
Compensation Range: $109,000 - $136,000
Benefits Information: We offer a comprehensive and generous benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off.
