Position: Tax Coordinator  
Department: Tax 
Reporting to: Director of Tax 
Location: Bentonville, Arkansas 
Job Classification: Full time; Non-Exempt 
 
Walton Enterprises is seeking a skilled, highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as a Tax Coordinator.

About the Position
You’ll join a top-notch team and help us continue our firm's growth. Our tax planning and compliance-oriented department offers growth and advancement potential in a professional atmosphere. 
 
What you will do
You will lead the day-to-day administrative functions for the Tax department and assist with tax payments and filings
 
Responsibilities
- Administrative duties including printing, copying, filing, and mailing 
- 1099 preparation, processing, and filing 
- Submit tax payments online 
- Prepare tax payment vouchers 
- Assist tax accountants and managers with various projects 
- Communicate with other departments and serve as liaison for the tax team 
- Other duties as assigned 
 
Who we are looking for
 
Qualifications required for your success
- 2+ years proven experience in an administrative role 
- Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint and Excel 
 
Additional Helpful Experience Includes
- Accounting or Tax experience 
- Bachelors’ Degree 
- Knowledge of multi-state tax laws 
- Personal attributes that support your success

All offers of employment are contingent on your successful completion (where permitted by state law) of a confidentiality agreement and background check. In addition, you will need to provide proper identification verifying your eligibility to work in the United States on your first day of work.
Benefits Information*
 
Compensation Range : $63,000-$77,000
 
Benefits Information: We offer a comprehensive and generous benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k)-retirement plan and paid time off.

The Tax Department provides a suite of services including partnership, private wealth, federal, and state income tax compliance and planning.
